A closed competition for the possibility of expanding an existing cultural center with a youth center. The Monastery is a household name in Nuenen. The Monastery is a symbol of Nuenen's socio-cultural life, in the present, in the past and in the future. 

The study is an exploration into the possibilities of expanding the Monastery with a permanent place for young people from the municipality of Nuenen. The starting point is to put this question in a broader context, so that – in the tradition of the developments of the Monastery – not only a solution is given for a concrete question, but also a strategy for further developments around the Monastery can be developed. In this way, in a broad context, the 'new home' is created for the young, the elderly and others from Nuenen.
